O Lord SrI rAma! O Holy One! O Consort of lakshmI! O Lord who causes prosperity! O Beloved of lakshmI who bestows desires cherished! O Lord praised by this tyAgarAja!

O Lord SrI rAma! For protecting (rakshimpanu) me (nanu), I do not find (kAna) anyone (orula) (literally others) (rakshimpanorula) excepting (vinA) You (ninu).

To my comfort (callaga), in my mind (ullamunanu), I have clearly (bAguga) beheld (jUceda) You (ninu) in everything (anniTa) (ullamunanuyanniTa) – that (ani) You (nIvu) (nIvani) are my mother (talli), father (taNDri), elder brother (anna) (taNDriyanna), younger-brother etc (tammulu) and God (daivamu);
O Lord SrI rAma! For protecting me, I do not find anyone excepting You.

pAvana nI bhakti sadA pAlincunu mOkshamu-osagu
mA-vara nI sannidhini pramANamu jEsi palkeda (rAma)

O Holy One (pAvana)! Devotion (bhakti) to You (nI) will nourish (pAlincunu) (devotees) and bestow (osagu) emancipation (mOkshamu) (mOkshamosagu);
O Consort (vara) of lakshmI (mA)! I say (palkeda) this by swearing (pramANamu jEsi) in Your (nI) Holy presence (sannidhini);
O Lord SrI rAma! For protecting me, I do not find anyone excepting You.

satva guNambunanu-upAsanamu-onarinciri peddalu
tatvamu telisenu ika bhava taraNa-upAyamu nIvu-ani (rAma)

Those great personages (peddalu) performed (onarinciri) Your worship (upAsanamu) endowed with the quality (guNambunanu) (guNambunanuyupAsanamonarinciri) of purity (desirelessness) (satva); and
the truth (tatvamu) was revealed (telisenu) that (ani) further (ika) You (nIvu) (nIvani) are the means (upAyamu) for fording (taraNa) (taraNOpAyamu) the Ocean (bhava) of Worldly Existence;
O Lord SrI rAma! For protecting me, I do not find anyone excepting You.

lOkulu nija dAsula kani lOpaDu dur-asUyalatO
SrI kara ninu dUshincina ceDi pOlEru kAni (rAma)

Ordinary people (lOkulu), seeing (kani) Your true (nija) devotees (dAsula), due to (lOpaDu) evil-some envy (dur-asUyalatO),
even if they abuse (dUshincina) You (ninu), O Lord who causes (kara) prosperity (SrI)! they will not be ruined (ceDi pOlEru), indeed (kAni);
O Lord SrI rAma! For protecting me, I do not find anyone excepting You.

kOrina kOrikalu-osagE SrI ramaNA ninnu-aniSamu
cEriti SaraNu-anukoNTini SrI tyAgarAja nuta (rAma)

O Beloved (ramaNa) of lakshmI (SrI) who bestows (osagE) desires (kOrikalu) (kOrikalosagE) cherished (kOrina)!
I constantly (aniSamu) approached (cEriti) (literally join) You (ninnu) (ninnaniSamu) because I considered (anukoNTini) that You are my refuge (SaraNu) (SaraNanukoNTini);
O Lord praised (nuta) by this tyAgarAja! O Lord SrI rAma! For protecting me, I do not find anyone excepting You.


Notes

Variations - (Pathanthara)
2dUshincina ceDi pOlEru – dUshincina ceDi pOyEru. From the context, it seems that SrI tyAgarAja asserts that ‘those who abuse the Lord out of envy towards true devotees will not be ruined’. However, in some books, an opposite meaning has been taken that ‘they will be ruined’.

The word ‘dUshincina’ – ‘even if they abuse’, is correctly given in all the books. Therefore, the meaning ‘they will not be ruined’ is more appropriate. However, if the word ‘dUshincina’ is changed to ‘dUshinci’, then ‘ceDi pOyEru’ may be correct.
